About Us
Robert A. Henke - President / Owner
Rob Henke began his career in beverage sales as a store manager at the
age of twenty one. Quickly he realized a career in wine would be a lot
more enjoyable than many of the other business ideas which he was
presented while attending Indiana University. Ten years of work in the
wholesale wine industry exposed him to an even greater depth of pleasure
and knowledge of the world's great wines.
Heartland Vintage Wines was founded in 1997 and is Rob's solution to
help smaller wineries attain the exposure and notoriety which they deserve
in the Midwest.
While Rob's belief is that there is an appropriate place for any well-made
wine, at Heartland Vintage Wines, he strives to represent only the best!
